"Eat, Drink and Be Scary!"

Scary hostess for this month, Heidi.
We had a Halloween of a good time!

(Don't you wish you had spiders growing on your head?)


This was a great month for "show and tell."
Take a peak if you dare!
You won't want to miss one of the "boo"tiful creations displayed.
Promise, nothing too scary . . . I hope.

Well, maybe just a little scary!

These trees were three years in the making. Yes, we cheered!

Just needing to show off after being gone for 4 years,
KENDALL impressed us with all of these beauties.


Look at the fun and bright circles. Must be the day for circle quilts!
MARENE put a beautiful salmon minky on the back of this.


Guest quilter, Beth (my daughter) came to help her mom and was able to share with appropriately approving associates!


And finally the food--



Soup bar with pumpkin bread bowls, waldorf salad, artichoke dip with tortilla chips, caramel apples, pumpkin fudge and spiced pecans. Guests were each sent home with miniature pin cushions for their sewing machines and a Trick or Treat bag and happy memories of another day in quilting paradise!

her sisters and mom Vegas Style!

And last but not least, our mascot for the day, Miss Boo Herself,
my granddaughter, Elsie!

Hot Artichoke Dip:
8 oz cream cheese
1 C mayonnaise
1 1/2 C grated/shredded Parmesan cheese
2 cans quartered artichoke hearts, drained

Blend cream cheese until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into oven safe dish and bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. May sprinkle top with additional cheese. Serve with tortilla chips, bread or vegetables.
